Important Update Regarding Humana Medicare Dental Insurance
Dear Valued Patient,
Thank you for trusting Chandler Dental Excellence with your dental care. We deeply value the relationships we’ve built with our patients and remain dedicated to providing you with personalized treatment, top-quality materials, and the attentive care you deserve.
As you may know, most dental practices in our area are now owned by corporate groups. At Chandler Dental Excellence, we take pride in remaining a private practice to ensure your care is tailored to your unique needs. However, like many small businesses, we are facing rising costs for labor and supplies. Dental insurance fee schedules, set by insurers, often lag behind these increases, impacting our ability to maintain the high standards you expect from us.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to no longer be in-network with Humana Medicare Dental Insurance. This decision allows us to prioritize the quality of your care and the sustainability of our practice.
What This Means for You:
- We are submitting paperwork to terminate our contract with Humana Medicare Dental Insurance. This process typically takes approximately 90 days, and we do not yet know the effective cancellation date.
- Once our out-of-network status becomes effective, Humana Medicare does not offer any out-of-network benefits.
- As a Humana Medicare customer, you will be responsible for 100% of our standard fees.
- To help make your dental care more affordable, we offer an In-Office Membership Plan, which provides savings compared to our usual fees.
We understand that this may come as a surprise and appreciate that many of you have been loyal patients for years. While we hope you will continue your care with us, we understand that financial considerations may impact your decision.
