Continuing a proud family legacy of dental care, Dr. Taylor took over Chandler Dental Excellence from his father in 2023, combining decades of trusted community care with state-of-the-art restorative, cosmetic, and implant solutions.

Dr. Taylor’s academic journey began at Arizona State University (ASU), where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology. This foundational background in human behavior and communication directly shapes his gentle, empathetic approach to clinical practice. Dr. Taylor understands that dental anxiety is a very real barrier for many patients; by understanding patient psychology, he creates a calm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and fully informed about their oral health. Following his undergraduate studies at ASU, Dr. Taylor completed his doctorate at the prestigious University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2010.

Before returning home to Arizona to lead Chandler Dental Excellence, Dr. Taylor spent more than 13 years practicing comprehensive dentistry in South Dakota. Over more than a decade of private practice, he developed an extensive clinical repertoire handling complex full-mouth rehabilitations, surgical extractions, aesthetic smile makeovers, and advanced restorative procedures. His clinical philosophy centers on individualized attention—taking the time to truly get to know each patient, understand their personal interests, and design treatment plans aligned with their long-term health and lifestyle goals.

Dr. Taylor has earned the prestigious title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD)—one of the most respected designations in the dental profession, held by fewer than 2% of general dentists nationwide. Achieving Mastership requires completing more than 1,100 hours of rigorous, approved continuing education across all dental disciplines, including 400 hours dedicated to hands-on clinical coursework. Demonstrating an unwavering commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Taylor actively completes monthly continuing education courses, ensuring his patients benefit from the most current clinical protocols, biomimetic materials, and evidence-based techniques available.

Musician, Multi-Sport Athlete & Devoted Family Man

Outside of the clinical operatory, Dr. Taylor leads an active life centered on family, athletics, and music. He is happily married to his wife, Nichole, and together they are the proud parents of five children—one daughter and four energetic sons. Whether cheering on his children at their school activities or spending quality time outdoors, Dr. Taylor’s commitment to his family grounds his practice philosophy, inspiring him to treat every patient who walks through his doors with the exact same care and respect he extends to his own family.

A passionate multi-sport athlete, Dr. Taylor maintains high energy through an array of outdoor activities. He is an avid ice hockey player, snow skier, cyclist, and distance runner, and he regularly tests his balance attempting to surf whenever he visits coastal waters. In addition to his athletic pursuits, Dr. Taylor is an accomplished classical musician who plays the cello, cultivating an appreciation for rhythm, patience, and fine finger dexterity that directly enhances his delicate, steady touch during complex surgical and cosmetic dental procedures.
